This adds to an already talented pool of Utah defensive backs. His announcement comes a few weeks after heralded Utah high school star Smith Snowden announced his commitment to Utah live on KSL Sports Zone.
Miles Battle Playing Career Before Utah
Battle comes to Utah as a former wide receiver turned cornerback with one year of eligibility left.
During his first two seasons with Ole Miss, he played only on the offensive side of the ball with four receptions for 38 yards. In 2020, he made the switch to defense.
On defense, his career totals so far are 55 tackles, 22 solo tackles, 14 pass breakups and two interceptions.
Utah’s newest corner comes in at 6’4” and 205 pounds.
