The Aggies became bowl-eligible with a 35-31 win over San Jose State in the final home game of 2022.
“Super proud,” head coach Blake Anderson said of his team after the win against SJSU. “We talked about this a lot over the last few weeks and how much that means to this group. To go from 1-4 to bowl eligible is very special.”
“It’s been adversity, adversity, adversity. To battle back and continue to work, continue to practice and not give up on each other. The culture of the program is something we can absolutely build off of.”
Bowl-eligible for the second consecutive season, USU will play in the postseason for the 10th time in the past 12 years.
