SALT LAKE CITY – The Timberwolves ran into a pair of extra defenders on a fast break against Oklahoma City as two ball boys found themselves involved in the action.
The Thunder hosted Minnesota in Oklahoma City on Friday, March 4.
With the Thunder trailing 99-83 late in the third quarter, guard Jordan McLaughlin picked off a Thunder pass near mid-court and found himself without an OKC defender between him and the basket.

But instead of an open layup, in shades of Stanford-Cal, McLaughlin found two OKC ballboys attempting to clean the floor near the basket.
As the ball boys scrambled to avoid the action, McLaughlin ran into one, forcing a missed layup. DeAngelo Russell followed with a second missed layup before OKC regained possession.
In possibly the strangest development of all, the refs appeared as dumbfounded as anyone considering there was no whistle on the play.
