SALT LAKE CITY – Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow showed sportsmanship during the biggest game of his football career, the Super Bowl.
During Super Bowl LVI, Joe Burrow was mic’d up and the NFL released video of the star QB introducing himself to the members of the Los Angeles Rams defense. This wasn’t before or after the game, it was during the big game.
The video that was released showed Burrow first saying hi to Von Miller. After he got Miller’s attention, he reached his hand out.
Joe Burrow went up to all the #Rams star defenders and introduced himself during Sunday’s Super Bowl.

“Nice to meet you, brother,” Burrow said.
As he was walking past star defensive tackle Aaron Donald, Burrow seemed pretty pleasant with his interaction, saying “what up, Aaron?”
Then he had an interaction with former Utah Utes All-American and Rams safety Eric Weddle. Weddle had a brief conversation with Burrow.
Burrow: Hey, Eric. I’m Joe. I loved watching you, growing up.
Weddle: Hell of a season. Keep it up. I love everything about you.
Burrow: Appreciate you, brother.
Weddle: All ball, no B.S.
Burrow: Yes sir.
Burrow and the Bengals came up short of winning the first Super Bowl in franchise history, falling to the Rams 23-20 on Sunday at SoFi Stadium. The second-year QB from LSU completed 22 of his 33 pass attempts for 263 yards and one touchdown. He was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft after winning the Heisman Trophy and leading LSU to a National Championship.
