Former BYU Star Ashley Hatch Scores Third Career USWNT Goal

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU star and current United States Women’s National Team forward Ashley Hatch scored her third career goal for the USA during a SheBelieves Cup match.
The USWNT played New Zealand at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California on Sunday, February 20.
During the 51st minute of action, Hatch buried a shot into the back of the net for his third goal as a member of the USA squad.
Hatch’s goal stretch the United States’ lead to 4-0.

The USWNT took a 3-0 lead before the halftime break after three own goals that were credited to Meikayla Moore.
Hatch has appeared in five contests with United States Women’s National Team.

She was a finalist for the 2021 NWSL Most Valuable Player award following her Golden Boot winning season where she scored 10 goals in 20 appearances.
