Jazz HC Quin Snyder, Forward Danuel House Jr. Clear COVID Protocols

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder and forward Danuel House Jr. cleared the NBA’s Health & Safety Protocols after contracting COVID-19 in late January.
The coach and player were cleared on Sunday, February 6.
Snyder and House Jr. entered the COVID-19 Protocols on January 30.
Lead assistant Alex Jensen served as Utah’s acting head coach while Snyder was away from the team.
House is currently on his second 10-day deal with the Jazz. The contract is set to expire on Sunday.

The Jazz went 2-1 during Snyder and House’s absence. Utah suffered a road loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves before picking up back-to-back home victories over the Denver Nuggets and Brooklyn Nets.
Jazz star Donovan Mitchell returned to the lineup after missing two weeks with a concussion and helped Utah beat Brooklyn.
In seven games with the Jazz, House Jr. has averaged 8.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.4 blocks, and 0.7 steals in 19.3 minutes per contest.
Utah’s next game is at home against the New York Knicks on Monday, February 7 at 7 p.m. (MDT). The game will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA League Pass, and The Zone Sports Network.
