BYU QB Jaren Hall Breaks Loose For 56-Yard Touchdown Against Baylor

WACO, Texas – BYU quarterback Jaren Hall left the Baylor Bears in the dust on a 56-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
The Bears hosted Hall and the No. 19 Cougars at McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas on Saturday, October 16.
With 12:18 remaining in the third quarter, BYU decided to go for it on a 4th & 1 from their own 44-yard line.
Hall took the pigskin and broke loose for a big run. The sophomore quarterback took it to the house for a 56-yard touchdown.

BYU head coach Kalani Sitake was so excited by Hall’s highlight play that he sprinted down the sideline parallel to his quarterback.

The touchdown cut Baylor’s lead to 17-14.
Hall’s run capped a six-play, 75-yard drive that lasted 2:42 on the opening drive of the second half.

After the play, Hall was 9/12 passing for 143 yards. He added three carries for 38 yards on the ground. Despite the big run, Hall’s yardage was limited by sacks.
