Jets QB Zach Wilson Zips Second Touchdown To WR Corey Davis Against Panthers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current Jets quarterback Zach Wilson tossed his second touchdown pass to Corey Davis during New York’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
The Panthers hosted the Jets on Sunday, September 12.
With 1:56 left in the fourth quarter, Wilson zipped a ball to the far side of the end zone and into the hands of Davis.
The Wilson-Davis connection was the second score of the day by the duo.
After a failed two-point conversion, the Panthers owned a 19-14 lead.

Wilson’s first touchdown pass to Davis was a 22-yard strike in the third quarter.

After the play, New York was unable to recover an onside kick and never regained possession. Carolina captured a 19-14 victory.
Wilson finished the game 20/37 passing for 258 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
With the loss, the Jets moved to an 0-1 record to start the season.
New York’s next game is against the New England Patriots on Sunday, September 19 at 11 a.m. (MDT) on CBS.
