Jets QB Zach Wilson Attends Arizona/BYU Football Game At Allegiant Stadium

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Former BYU and current New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada for the Cougars’ game against the Arizona Wildcats.
BYU opened its 2021 schedule against the Wildcats at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders, on Saturday, September 4.
Wilson recently concluded the NFL preseason and is awaiting the Jets’ season-opener on September 12.
With a week to spare before his season starts, the former BYU star wanted to see the Cougars’ game against the Wildcats.
During the first half of the game, Wilson was shown on the jumbotron inside the stadium and received cheers from the crowd.

Wilson was also interviewed during the game by ESPN’s Stormy Buonantony.
The sideline reporter asked Wilson how it felt to watch his former teammates, what he thought of Jaren Hall’s performance, and his expectations for the upcoming NFL season.

Prior to kickoff, BYUtv’s Jarom Jordan reported that Wilson had breakfast with the BYU football team on game day.

BYU’s game against Arizona is broadcast on ESPN and KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM.
Wilson and the Jets open their regulars season schedule against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, September 12 at 11 a.m. (MDT). The game will be televised on CBS.
