Five Red Rocks Earn WCGA Regular Season All-American Honors

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Five members of the Red Rocks earned Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) All-American honors on Thursday morning.
Red Rocks star Maile O’Keefe, who also earned Pac-12 Gymnast of the Year, received All-American honors in the all-around and on the beam. O’Keefe ended the regular season tied for first in the country on beam with a 9.975 National Qualifying Score (NQS). She was also tied for sixth in the nation in the all-around with a 39.625 National Qualifying Score.

Abby Paulson earned All-American honors for the second straight year on beam. She finished the regular season with a 9.95 NQS, picking up a 9.90 score or better seven times on beam this season.

The third and final Red Rock to earn first team All-American honors was Sydney Soloski for the second straight season on the floor. Soloski ended the regular season tied for eighth in the country with a 9.95 NQS on the floor.

For the first time in her career, Alexia Burch was named an All-American as she earned second team selection on vault. Burch was named Pac-12 Specialist of the Year after posting a 9.931 NQS, which was tied for 10th in the country on vault.

Cristal Isa was named second team All-American for the second consecutive season on beam. She finished No. 13 in the country with a 9.938 NQS.

Utah will look towards the NCAA Regionals on Friday, April 2 at 1 p.m. MT. They will face No. 11 Arizona State, Boise State and Southern Utah at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.
