Former Utah State Linebacker Kyler Fackrell Signs With Los Angeles Chargers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah State linebacker Kyler Fackrell signed a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers announced Fackrell’s signing on Wednesday, March 24.
Fackrell joined Los Angeles after spending the 2020 season with the New York Giants.

About Kyler Fackrell
Prior to his time in the NFL, Fackrell was a standout linebacker for the Aggies. He played for USU from 2011-2015.
After his time in Logan, Fackrell was selected by the Green Bay Packers during the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Following four seasons with the Packers, the former Utah State linebacker signed a one-year deal with the Giants.
Last season, Fackrell had 34 total tackles, 23 solo tackles, four sacks, one forced fumble, one interception, two pass breakups, and one touchdown in 12 games.

During his five-year NFL career, Fackrell has recorded 145 total tackles, 103 solo tackles, 20.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception, one touchdown, and three pass breakups.
