Utah State Forward Justin Bean Named Mountain West Player Of The Week

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Mountain West honored Utah State men’s basketball forward Justin Bean as the conference’s top player of the week.
Bean was recognized as the Mountain West Conference Player of the Week on Monday, March 8.
The junior forward was honored as posting back-to-back double-doubles in Utah State’s wins over the Wyoming Cowboys and Fresno State Bulldogs.

Bean helped the Aggies defeat the Cowboys with a 21-point, 10 rebound performance.
A couple of days later, Bean scored 13 points and pulled down 12 boards as USU took down Fresno State to close out the regular season.
This season, Bean is averaging 11.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He is shooting 50.9 percent from the floor.
Bean and the Aggies finished the regular season with a 18-7 overall record, including 15-4 in Mountain West games.
Utah State’s next game is in the Mountain West Conference Tournament. The Aggies will take on the winner of UNLV and Air Force. The game will tip-off on Thursday, March 11 at 7 p.m. (MDT). It will broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
