Five Weber State Players Score In Double Figures In Close Loss To Portland State

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Five Weber State players scored in double figures despite a close loss to the Portland State Vikings.
The Vikings hosted the Wildcats on Sunday, December 20. It was the second game of a back-to-back between the school programs.
On December 18, Weber State defeated Portland State, 94-66.
On Sunday, the Vikings avenged the loss with a 74-72 win over the Wildcats.

In the loss, five Weber State players scored in double figures, led by Isiah Brown’s 15 points.

In addition to Brown’s scoring, Cody Carlson, Zahir Porter, Dillon Jones, and Dontay Bassett all scored 10 points or more.

The Wildcats shot 47.3 percent overall and only 9.1 percent from three.
Portland State shot 41.7 percent from the field, including 36.4 percent from downtown.
The Vikings improved to 2-3 on the season with the victory.
The Wildcats moved to 3-2 with the loss.

Weber State’s next game is against the BYU Cougars on Wednesday, December 23.
