Utah WR Bryan Thompson Scores Touchdown On First Career Rush

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah wide receiver Bryan Thompson scored a rushing touchdown on the first rush attempt of his college career during the Utes’ game against the Washington State Cougars.
The Utes hosted the Cougars at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, December 19.
With 55 seconds left in the third quater, Thompson received a handoff off from quarterback Drew Lisk on an end-around play.
Thompson sprinted into the end zone for a nine-yard touchdown run.

The score cut Washington State’s lead to 28-21.
Thompson’s run capped off an eight-play, 68-yard drive that took 3:38 off the clock.

Utah’s first touchdown of the game came during the second quarter on a 91-yard touchdown pass from Jake Bentley to Britain Covey.
The second touchdown for the Utes came during the third quarter on a five-yard touchdown run by Ty Jordan.
Washington State owned a 28-21 lead at the end of the third quarter.
