Tyler Allgeier Breaks Free For 42-Yard Touchdown Run Against Coastal Carolina

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – BYU running back Tyler Allgeier busted through a hole in the offensive line and down the field for a 42-yard touchdown against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
The Chanticleers hosted the Cougars in Conway, South Carolina on Saturday, December 5.
On 2nd & 4 from the Coastal Carolina 42-yard line, Allgeier received a carry from BYU quarterback Zach Wilson, bounced to a wide-open hole in the line, and up the field for six points.
Allgeier’s sprint and an extra point by Jake Oldroyd gave the Cougars a 7-6 lead with 13:50 left in the first half.

After the rush, Allgeier had five carries for 69 yards and the touchdown.
The touchdown run with the running back’s 12th of the 2020 season.
Allgeier entered the contest with 851 rushing yards through nine games.
