Peasley’s Performance Leads Utah State To First Win Of 2020 Season

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State quarterback Andrew Peasley played an excellent game and led the Aggies to their first win of the season with a victory against the New Mexico Lobos.
Maile and the Aggies hosted the Lobos at Maverik Stadium on Thursday, November 26.
Peasley had four total touchdowns to led USU to a 41-27 win over New Mexico.
The sophomore was proficient in the passing game and led the Aggies in rushing.

Peasley was 14/21 passing for 239 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
The quarterback also had a big ground game to go with his passing attack.
Peasley ran the ball for a team-high 118 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.
According to Fox Sports, Peasley’s performance on the ground was the fourth time since 1996 that a Utah State quarterback has run for more than 100 yards in a game.

After the first two quarters of action, USU trailed 13-6.
In the third quarter, the Aggies outscore the Lobos 28-7 to take control of the game.
The Aggies ended the contest with 452 yards of total offense compared to New Mexico’s 348 yards.
Utah State’s next game is against the Air Force Falcons on Thursday, December 3. The game will kick-off at 7:30 p.m. (MDT) and broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
