Kina Maile Helps Utah State Break Open Game Against New Mexico Lobos

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State linebacker Kina Maile took over the game during the third quarter against the New Mexico Lobos.
Maile and the Aggies hosted the Lobos at Maverik Stadium on Thursday, November 26.
At halftime, Utah State trailed 13-6.
Whatever the coaching staff said during the break worked. During the third quarter, the Aggies wreaked havoc, led by Maile.
Midway through the quarter, the freshman linebacker set up the USU offense after blocking a punt in New Mexico territory.

The Aggies converted the opportunity into a touchdown to take a 27-13 lead with 6:54 remaining in the third quarter.
With 5:17 left in the third, Maile and the Aggie defense put some serious pressure on New Mexico’s front.
UNM quarterback Trae Hall fumbled the ball and Maile picked it up before taking it into the end zone for Utah State’s fourth straight touchdown of the quarter.

Maile’s score gave the Aggies a 34-13 lead.
