In August, the Big Sky Conference announced that it would postpone all fall sports until the spring of 2021.
“This spring football season certainly will be unique, and I am confident that all who care about our conference share in the sentiment that we cannot wait to watch our student-athletes and coaches compete for a Big Sky title and contend for the FCS championship,” Big Sky Conference commissioner Tom Wistrcill said in a statement. “This schedule provides consistency by utilizing much of the original fall 2020 slate, flexibility by allowing space for games to be rescheduled, and sensibility by prioritizing regional matchups that minimize travel and expenses.”
Weber State’s Schedule
- @ Idaho State on February 27
- vs. Montana State on March 6
- vs. Northern Arizona on March 13
- @ Southern Utah on March 27
- Northern Colorado on April 3
- @ UC Davis on April 10
Every Big Sky team will have a bye week on March 20 and April 17.
After the regular season, the FCS Playoffs will begin on April 24. The national championship will take place between May 14-16.
In July, Weber State was selected as the Big Sky preseason favorite for the first time.
Weber State has won three consecutive conference titles. The Wildcats advanced to the semifinals of the FCS Playoffs in 2019.
