PROVO, Utah – BYU’s mascot Cosmo the Cougar continues to bring out brilliant stunts despite not having fans inside LaVell Edwards Stadium.
On Saturday afternoon during halftime of BYU’s game against UTSA, Cosmo put on rollerblades and went down a ramp in the stands and landed on a pad that was on the field. BYU had a 14-3 lead at the halftime break.
On the first attempt, Cosmo attempted a back flip off of the stands onto the pad but he didn’t complete it. After his second attempt, he completed the backflip.

Do Not Try This At Home
Earlier this week, Cosmo did a basketball-related stunt. The trick centered around another slam dunk. Earlier this year, Cosmo pulled off a dunk from the three-point line that had the internet losing its mind wondering how Cosmo and his team pulled it off.
Cosmo did a back flip off of the top of the backboard. As he was airborne, he put the ball in the hoop.

Last Week’s Stunt
During BYU’s game last Friday against Louisiana Tech, Cosmo did a human bowling ball stunt where he was in a giant bubble ball midway to the top of the bleachers. As he fell from the stands onto the grass, the mascot tumbled through bowling pins.
