PROVO, Utah – BYU’s mascot, Cosmo the Cougar, flew from behind the three-point line for a dunk during a timeout in the game between the Cougars and the San Francisco Dons.
The Cougars hosted the Dons at the Marriott Center in Provo on Saturday, February 8.
BYU’s dunk team stood behind the arc and lifted Cosmo up off of the court before launching the mascot into the air. As he glided towards the hoop, he received a pass from a member of the dunk team below him. Cosmo sailed more than 22-feet before throwing the ball through the cylinder to an eruption of applause from the Marriott Center crowd.
