PROVO, Utah – BYU mascot Cosmo the Cougar broke out a human bowling ball stunt during the Cougars’ football game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

The No. 22 ranked Cougars hosted the Bulldogs at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Friday, October 2.

Despite there being no fans in the home game for BYU, Cosmo displayed his mascot talents during a halftime show for media members and personnel inside the stadium.

Cosmo entered a giant inflated ball and rolled down to the field from midway up the stands.

As he fell from the stands onto the grass, the mascot tumbled through bowling pins.

Cosmo is well known for his impressive skills and stunts as BYU’s mascot. In fact, he was voted as the top mascot in college sports earlier in the off-season.

At halftime, the Cougars owned a 28-7 lead over the Bulldogs.

The game between Louisiana Tech and BYU is broadcast on ESPN2 and KSL NewsRadio 1160 AM and 102.7 FM.
