SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah High School Activities Association has changed the championship venue for most of the classifications.
The 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A state championships for football will be moved from Rice-Eccles Stadium to Dixie State and Greater Zion Stadium.
When Utah football announced their season start date, they also said no fans will be allowed to attend games. That also applies to high school football championships.
UHSAA has not announced the venue for the 6A championship game.
Looks like UHSAA has updated football championship games sites for 5A-2A, which all will be at Dixie State. 6A still TBD. No games at the U. (No fans allowed)https://t.co/ybO4oeOEEG pic.twitter.com/Ck0XvOn65P

The 2A and 3A semifinals will be held at Southern Utah University. 4A will have the semifinal round played at the home site of the higher ranked team and the Championship in St. George. 5A is holding both the semifinals and championship rounds at Dixie State University.
Each classification was originally scheduled to play at different sites but UHSAA has decided to consolidate them to St. George. Washington County is in the yellow phase of the COVID-19 scale.
11 high school football games were either canceled or postponed due to COVID-19 outbreaks at schools around the state.
