No. 8 Sky View Remains Perfect With Blowout Win Over Logan

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – No. 8 Sky View kept their undefeated season alive with a 42-11 win over Logan.
Sky View outscored Logan, 42-3 in the first three quarters to keep their undefeated season alive. Kasen Carlsen threw two touchdowns, finding Titan Saxton twice. Carlsen also ran in two touchdowns along with a TD run each by Isaac Larsen and Walter Collins. Gage Jensen scored Logan’s only touchdown.

Region 9
Canyon View 28 at Hurricane 35
Conner Nielson completes the comeback for Hurricane with the game-winning touchdown with 28 seconds left in the game. Nielson ran in two touchdowns as well as two TD’s from Luke Wright. Carter Ashby threw a touchdown pass to Jack Reeve. For Canyon View, Jake Garrett found Jake Tom for the only passing touchdown of the night. Gunner Hatch ran in two TD’s while Garrett found the end zone once on the ground.
Cedar City 17 at Desert Hills 14
Cedar City jumped out to a 17-7 lead entering the fourth quarter and was able to hold off Desert Hills for the win. Their two touchdowns came on the ground from Bryan White and Seth Brinkerhoff. Desert Hills had two passing TD’s from Noah Fuailetolo, finding Braxton Turnbow and Josh Crandall.
Crimson Cliffs 15 at Dixie 25
It was a tight game in the first half with Crimson Cliffs holding a 15-11 lead. Dixie took over with a 14-point second half while holding Crimson Cliffs scoreless. Shea Anderson and Avery Anderson each ran in touchdowns for the Flyers. Harold Hansen threw a touchdown to Easton Droubay.
No. 19 Snow Canyon 35 at Pine View 36
The Panthers pulled off the upset with a massive win over Snow Canyon. The game was tied at 28 at the half. Snow Canyon scored one more time in the third while Pine View recorded 8 points in the second half. Snow Canyon missed the potential game-winning field goal. Landon Frei threw two touchdowns, connecting with Jake Hill twice. Frei also ran in a TD as did Wesley Tauanuu for Snow Canyon. Pine View received two touchdown passes from Brayden Bunnell, finding Christian Bailey and Preston Mann. Enoch Takau led the way with three rushing TD’s.
Region 10
Cedar Valley 37 at Ogden 27
A 24-14 second half for Cedar Valley was the difference. Payton Weber threw three touchdowns to Noah Burnham, Payton Weber and Taygen Hansen. Logan Shobe also ran in a TD. For Ogden, Jaice Holt threw three touchdowns to Adam Wilson, Enrique Gomez and Isaac Wilson. Vili Mausia added a rushing TD.
No. 20 Park City 48 at Ben Lomond 7
The Miners continued their winning ways as they rolled over Ben Lomond on the road.
Stansbury at Mountain View
This game was canceled due to COVID-19.
Uintah 14 at Tooele 34
Other than allowing Uintah to score 14 points in the third and the Buffaloes going scoreless, it was a great performance from the home team. Justic Tadifa had three passing touchdowns to three different targets, including Gavin Brown, Mateaki Helu and Tabor Shepard. Helu also had a rushing touchdown as did Dylan Makoni for Tooele. Josh Speirs passed for two scores to Carson Coltharp and Dustin Rhoades for Uintah.
Region 11
Bear River 21 at Mountain Crest 0
Two touchdowns from Kace Jones and a long TD run by Gabe Dwaileebe was all that Bear River needed as they picked up a shutout road win.
No. 17 Ridgeline 35 at Green Canyon 28
The Riverhawks had a 20-7 lead heading into the fourth quarter when Green Canyon scored 21 points, coming up short of the ferocious comeback as Ridgeline scored 15 points in the fourth. Kaden Cox threw four TD’s, finding Evan Webb three times and Strat Simmons once for Ridgeline. Jake Lundin had four total touchdowns, one passing and three rushing. He found Jacob Regen through the air.
