SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Mountain West Conference announced on Monday that they have postponed their 2020 virtual media days.

While the media days have been postponed, the conference announced that they will release their 2020 football predicted order of finish, all-conference teams and individual awards this week.

The Mountain West released a statement on Monday afternoon.

“The Mountain West has postponed its 2020 Football virtual Media Days until further notice. The event was scheduled for July 27-29. Any further decisions and announcements will take place at the appropriate time. The MW will release its 2020 football predicted order of finish, all-conference teams and individual awards this week.”

The Pac-12 postponed their virtual media days until further notice. But, the Mountain West has not made a decision on their fall sports schedule, whether they will follow the Pac-12 and play a conference-only schedule or leave it as is with non-conference opponents.

Media Days is usually the unofficial start to the college football season as they are held just before fall camp normally opens. Media members get the opportunity to interview two players and the head coach from each Mountain West program.
