SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Pac-12 Conference announced that their virtual media days has been postponed until further notice.

The media days were originally scheduled for July 29-31 and were going to be held virtually.

The Pac-12 released the following statement on Monday morning.

“In light of the decision by the Pac-12 CEO Group to schedule Conference-only play and to delay a move to mandatory athletic activities, the 2020 Pac-12 Football Media Days presented by 76 has been postponed until further notice. Originally set for July 29-31, the event will be rescheduled at a later date to be determined.”

Pac-12 Media Days is usually the unofficial start to the college football season as they are held just before fall camp normally opens. Media members get the opportunity to interview two players and the head coach from each Pac-12 program.

The conference announced nearly two weeks ago that they will move their fall sports to a conference-only schedule including football. They will have schedule details released for the programs by no later than July 31.
