Utah Jazz Gaming Reaches Final Four Of NBA2K League’s ‘THE TIPOFF’ Tournament

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz Gaming reached the final four of the NBA2K League’s “THE TIPOFF” Tournament by defeating Pistons GT (Detroit Pistons affiliate) in the quarterfinals.
Jazz Gaming is the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Utah Jazz.
The team advanced to the semifinals behind Kimanni “Splashy” Ingram’s back-to-back 30 point performances during the opening games of the series. He averaging 30.7 points per contest through seven tourney games.

THE TIPOFF Tournament
With the victory, Jazz Gaming guaranteed itself part of the tournament’s prize money. The prize pool for the “THE TIPOFF” is $160,000.

The top four teams in the tournament will earn the following amounts:
First place – $70,000
Second place – $50,000
Third place – $20,000
Fourth place – $20,000
Jazz Gaming will play Kings Guard Gaming (Sacramento Kings affiliate) in the semifinals on Friday, June 19, at 5 p.m. (MDT).

The semifinals matchup will be the second time Jazz Gaming and Kings Guard Gaming have played against each other this season.
Kings Guard Gaming gave Jazz Gaming their only loss of the regular season during the Week 4 matchup.
The meeting will feature a best-of-three series and will be broadcast on ESPN. The matchup will also be available via the NBA 2K League’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
