Two Utah Jazz Gaming Matchups To Be Broadcast On National Television

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Two of the upcoming matching for the Utah Jazz Gaming team are scheduled to air on national television.
Jazz Gaming is the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Utah Jazz.
The team’s upcoming matchups against Kings Guard Gaming and Blazer5 Gaming will broadcast on ESPN2.
Jazz Gaming opened the 2020 season against Magic Gaming last week and won 2-0.

“I’m proud of the way we competed as a team in our debut,” Jazz Gaming head coach Jelani “Comp” Mitchell said. “We’re building team chemistry here in Utah and we have two great tests against the Kings and Blazers this week under the bright lights of national television.”

First, the club will play against the Sacramento Kings 2K affiliate, Kings Guard Gaming, on Thursday, May 28 at 7 p.m. (MDT)
Next up, Jazz Gaming will compete against Blazer5 Gaming, the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers, on Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. (MDT).
The NBA 2K league opened its season in May and will have at least six weeks of remote gameplay. The Utah Jazz’s esports franchise will compete from the Jazz Gaming Lounge at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Jazz Gaming finished the 2019 season with an 8-8 record. It was the 13th best record out of the league’s 21 teams. The esports team is entering its third season as a franchise this season.
