Utah Royals To Host Orlando Pride In Home Opener

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Royals announced they will host the Orlando Pride for their first home game of the 2020 season.
The game, played at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, will be on Friday, April 24.
This season will be the Royal’s third season in the National Women’s Soccer League. The team will begin on the road against the Portland Thorns on Saturday, April 18.
The Utah Royals are 3-1-2 against Orlando.
The team has a new head coach after Laura Harvey took a job with the USWNT. Craig Harrington has taken over the team.

Harrington, who hails from Middlesex, England, joins the Royals following stints as an academy coach in the Bay area and more recently an assistant coach with fellow NWSL club Chicago Red Stars.
