Earlier in the qualifiers, Press scored two goals in the first half in the United States win over Costa Rica. Press has been a critical member of the Women’s National team that took home another World Cup in 2019.
The goal came on the day that her club named a new head coach in Craig Harrington. Her teammates on the Royals, Becky Sauerbrunn and Kelley O’Hara started the game for the United States against Mexico.
