Mitchell Bounces In For Beautiful Putback Dunk Over Warriors

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell bounced up to the rim after a Royce O’Neale miss to a spectacular putback dunk.
Mitchell’s beautiful putback came during the third quarter of the game between the Jazz and Golden State Warriors on Friday, December 13.
After O’Neale missed a three-point jumper, Mitchell leaped into the air, caught the ball above the rim, and threw it through the cylinder for the left-handed putback jam.

Mitchell’s dunk tied the Jazz and Warriors at 62-62 with 7:26 left in the third quarter.
After the putback, Mitchell 17 points on 7-11 shooting 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block.

The basket was part of an 11-4 run by the Jazz. Utah trailed Golden State 56-49 at halftime.
Mitchell’s play wasn’t his first amazing dunk of the game. He threw down a couple of jaw-dropping jams in the first half.
