Donovan Mitchell Jukes Warriors Defender Before Driving Dunk

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell shook a Golden State Warriors defender and drove the basket for a big slam dunk.
Mitchell’s dunk came during the second quarter of the game between Golden State and Utah at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Friday, December 13.
The Jazz guard juked out Warriors shooting guard Damion Lee with a stutter step before driving through the lane, leaping up, and hammering home a massive dunk with one hand.

The Jazz star’s slam cut the Warriors’ lead to 33-27 with 9:53 remaining until halftime. It was Mitchell’s second spectacular jam of the first half. He posted a powerful dunk in the opening minutes of the first quarter of the game as well.
In the first half, Mitchell recorded 11 points on 4-7 field goals and 1-3 from three-point range. He added 1 rebound, 1 assist, and a block in 18 first half minutes.
Utah trailed Golden State 56-49 after the opening 24 minutes of the game.
The Jazz were outshot 43.2 percent to the Warriors’ 48.9 percent in the first half.
Former Jazzman Alec Burks led the Dubs with 14 points in the first two quarters of play.
