Jazz Guard Kris Dunn Contributing Early Against San Antonio

SALT LAKE CITY – Kris Dunn and the Utah Jazz may have found each other at the perfect time with the sixth-year guard looking right at home with Utah.
The Jazz (30-31, 1oth in West) are hosting the San Antonio Spurs (14-46, 14th in West) at Vivint Arena on Saturday, February 25.

In just his second game with the Jazz, Dunn has been a force on both ends. A steal and breakaway dunk gave the Jazz life after struggling mightily in the first quarter against woeful San Antonio.
In the first quarter, Dunn broke down the Spurs defense before finding the embattled Udoka Azubuiki for an easy dunk.

In eight minutes off the bench, Dunn has six points on4-of-4 shooting, along with three rebounds and two assists.
Prior to signing a 10-day contract with the Jazz on February 22, Dunn spent time in the G-League. In 246 career games, he has averages of 8.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.
Utah trails 46-32 midway through the second quarter.

Spurs Look To End 15-Game Losing Streak
The Spurs are amid their worst stretch of the season having lost 15 straight games dating back to January 20.
The contests haven’t been particularly close with the Spurs losing by an average margin of 15.5 points per game.

The Jazz represent the final two games of a nine-game road swing as part of the Spurs annual rodeo road trip.

San Antonio hasn’t played in a front of a home crowd since February 3 in a 137-125 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
The two teams will play Saturday and Tuesday before the Spurs return to San Antonio where they will play eight of their next nine games.
The Jazz are coming off a thrilling overtime victory at home on Thursday over the Oklahoma City Thunder 120-119.
