Urban Meyer, FOX TV Crew Make Pac-12 Championship Game Picks

LAS VEGAS – Former Utah head coach Urban Meyer and the rest of FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff crew made their picks for the winner of the Pac-12 Conference Championship Game between the Utes and USC Trojans.
The conference title game between the No. 11 Utes and No. 4 Trojans took place at Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, on Friday, December 2.
Meyer, who coached Utah from 2003-04, was the only member of the panel to pick his former team to take down the Trojans.
Brady Quinn, Reggie Bush, and Matt Leinart all picked USC to beat Utah. Bush and Leinart both played for USC in the early 2000s.

With a Utah upset of USC, another one of Meyer’s former schools, Ohio State, would likely move into consideration for a College Football Playoff spot.
The Pac-12 Championship Game is televised on FOX.

Utah enters the matchup looking to defend its Pac-12 crown against USC, who will almost assuredly secure a spot among the four teams to compete in the College Football Playoff. It’s an intriguing contest between a pair of former Pac-12 South teams, especially after the Utes handed the Trojans their only loss of the season in October. That game took place at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
