SALT LAKE CITY – With kickoff less than 30 minutes away, University of Utah tight end Dalton Kincaid’s availability is still up in the air.
Speaking with Fox Sports’ Allison Williams prior to Utah’s matchup against No. 4 USC, Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham said there is ‘no guarantee’ Kincaid will be available for the Utes.

“First of all, we hope he plays. There’s no guarantee,” Whittingham said of Kincaid’s status prior to kickoff. “He’s feeling a little bit better today. If he is out there, he’s a guy that is a big playmaker for us. If that happens, then that bodes well for us.”
If Kincaid isn’t able to play, Whittingham believes Utah will have plenty of options.
“We gotta spread the ball around to a few different other people. Thomas Yassmin’s role becomes bigger. Everyone’s just gotta pick up the slack and step up.”
