Former Utah Utes Make Big Defensive Plays During Week 2

SALT LAKE CITY – Multiple former Utah football players made big defensive plays and forced turnovers during the second week of the 2022 NFL season.

Here is how all of the players with ties to the state of Utah performed during the second week of the season.

Former Utah Utes

Leki Fotu – Defensive Lineman – Arizona Cardinals (1-1)

The former Utah defensive lineman had one tackle in Arizona’s 29-23 overtime win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Tyler Huntley – Quarterback – Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

The former Utah quarterback suffered a 42-38 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Marcus Williams – Safety – Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

The former Utah defensive back had a team-high 10 total tackles, seven solo tackles, two pass breakups, and two interceptions in Baltimore’s 42-38 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Zack Moss – Running Back – Buffalo Bills (2-0)

The former Utah running back had three carries for 17 yards and one target as a receiver in Buffalo’s 41-7 win over the Tennessee Titans on Monday, September 19.

Jaylon Johnson – Cornerback – Chicago Bears (1-1)

The former Utah defensive back and the Bears suffered a 27-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Garett Bolles – Offensive Line – Denver Broncos (1-1)

The former Utah offensive lineman and the Broncos beat the Houston Texans, 16-9.

Tim Patrick – Wide Receiver – Denver Broncos (1-1)

The former Utah wide receiver is currently on Denver’s Injured Reserve list with a knee injury. The Broncos beat the Houston Texans, 16-9.

Julian Blackmon – Safety – Indianapolis Colts (0-1-1)

The former Utah defensive back had one tackle and one pass breakup in Indianapolis’ 24-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
