SALT LAKE CITY – Snow College announced their 2022 football schedule on Saturday morning as they look for another run at another NJCAA National title.

After a heartbreaking loss in the NJCAA National title game in the spring of 2021 and a 7-1 record in the fall, Snow College is ready for another shot with their 2022 football schedule.

The Badgers will open the 2022 season on Thursday, August 25 at home against Trinity Valley. Snow College will then head on the road for two straight games beginning on Saturday, September 3 versus New Mexico Military and Saturday, September 10 against Butler.

After the road trip, Snow returns to Ephraim for two straight, beginning with Gila River on Saturday, September 17 and Georgia Military on Saturday, October 1. The Badgers shut out Gila River 63-0 on September 11 and Georgia Military on the road 49-17 on October 2.

Iowa Western will host Snow on Saturday, October 8 as the Badgers will seek revenge against the team that handed them their only loss last season. On Saturday, October 15, Snow College will host ASA Miami at Robert L. Stoddard Field. They beat ASA Miami on the road last season 45-3. Their second-to-last road game of the season will be on Friday, October 21 versus Air Force Prep.

Snow’s last two home games of the regular season are in consecutive weeks, starting on Saturday, October 29 against Community Christian Detroit and Saturday, November 12 versus Monroe.

They will wrap up their regular season on the road against Lackawanna on Saturday, November 19. Snow defeated Lackawanna Community College 51-28 at home last season on Saturday, November 6.

Last season, Snow beat Gordon’s Fine Arts and Sports Academy, Gila River, MTI (McDougle Technical Institute), Georgia Military, ASA Miami, Kilgore and Lackawanna. Their lone loss was against Iowa Western, 17-14 at home.

Snow finished the 2021 fall season ranked No. 5 in the NJCAA national rankings, behind New Mexico Military Institute, Iowa Western, Hutchinson and Northwest Mississippi. They entered the season ranked No. 2 in the preseason rankings. The Badgers moved up to No. 1 after Week 1. They stayed in the top spot until Week 6 when they lost to Iowa Western.
