Snow College Football Suffers Heartbreaking Loss In NJCAA National Championship

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Snow College suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons in the NJCAA National Championship Game.
The Badgers and Blue Dragons played in the the title game at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, June 5.
After taking a two touchdown lead in the opening quarter, the Badgers led for the first three quarters of the contest.
Early in the fourth quarter, Hutchinson took its first lead of the game.
The Blue Dragons extended their lead midway through the final quarter before the Badgers responded with a touchdown. However, Snow College failed to convert the potential game-tying two-point conversion.
Snow College got the ball back with 1:19 to go before throwing a game-sealing interception.
The Badgers failed to overcome an injury to their quarterback and three missed field goals in the loss.
Hutchinson won the contest, 29-27, and its their first national title as a result.

The Blue Dragons ended the season with an 8-0 record.
Snow College suffered its first loss and finished the season 8-1.
