Since BYU accepted an invitation to the Big 12 Conference in 2021, the Cougars have been in the process of adjusting future schedules. BYU will join the Big 12 for the 2023 football season.
The 2023 matchup will be the second of two meetings between the Cougars and Razorbacks.
BYU and Arkansas have never played each other. The Cougars will host the Razorbacks for the 2022 season on October 15.
Arkansas will host the newly scheduled return trip game a year later.
