Real Salt Lake’s Anderson Julio Stuns Sporting KC With Match-Tying Goal

KANSAS CITY – Real Salt Lake forward Anderson Julio stunned Sporting Kansas City with a game-tying goal midway through the second half.
Sporting KC hosted RSL at Children’s Mercy Park for the Western Conference Semifinals of the MLS Cup Playoffs on Sunday, November 28.
During the 72nd minute of action, Andrew Brody sent a ball into the box and Julio headed into the back of the net for an equalizing goal.
Julio’s goal tied the match at 1-1.

It was Julio’s ninth goal of the 2021 campaign.
He entered the match in the 57th minute in replacement of Jonathan Menéndez.

Julio entered the match with eight goals, one assist, 34 shots, and 16 shots on target this season.
Real Salt Lake’s match against Sporting Kansas City is broadcast on ABC and 700 AM.
