BYU Opens Fourth Quarter Against WSU With Allgeier TD Run

PULLMAN, Washington – BYU opened the fourth quarter of its game against Washington State with a touchdown run by Tyler Allgeier.
Washington State hosted BYU at Martin Stadium in Pullman, Washington on Saturday, October 23.
With 14:59 left to play, the Cougars handed the ball off to Allgeier on the first play of the fourth quarter.
Allgeier burst into the end zone for his second goal line score of the game.

The touchdown run stretched BYU’s lead to 21-13.
It was Allgeier’s 11th touchdown run of the 2021 season.
The play ended an 11-play, 81-yard drive by the Cougars that took 5:02 off the clock.
After the run, Allgeier had 23 carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns.

The sophomore running back’s first touchdown of the contest came during the third quarter.
