BYU RB Tyler Allgeier Eclipses 2,000 Career Rushing Yards

PULLMAN, Washington – BYU running back Tyler Allgeier reached a big career rushing milestone during the Cougars’ game against the Washington State Cougars.
Washington State hosted BYU at Martin Stadium in Pullman, Washington on Saturday, October 23.
During the Cougars’ first offensive possession, Allgeier eclipsed 2,000 rushing yards for his college career.
The sophomore running back ran the ball five times for 39 yards, including a sprint of 30 yards, on the drive.
Allgeier entered the game with 675 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground this season.
Last year, Allgeier ran the ball for more than 1,1oo yards and 13 touchdowns to help BYU to an 11-1 record.
The Cougars ended the nine-play, 75-yard drive with a Lopini Katoa three-yard touchdown run.
Katoa’s run tied the game at 7-7 with 6:04 remaining in the first quarter.
