Bonner Finds Thompkins For USU’s First Offensive TD Against UNLV

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah State quarterback Logan Bonner connected with wide receiver Deven Thompkins for the Aggies’ first offensive touchdown against the UNLV Rebels.
With 12:53 left in the second quarter, the Aggies had the ball on 2nd & 11 at the UNLV 37-yard line.
Bonner received the snap before letting loose on a deep pass down the sideline for Thompkins.
The USU wideout snagged the ball and walked into the end zone for six points.
Thompkins’ touchdown catch cut UNLV’s lead to 17-14.

The Aggies’ first score of the game came on a kickoff return by Savon Scarver.
