Savon Scarver Scores 7th Career KR For TD Early In First Quarter Against UNLV

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State WR and return specialists Savon Scarver scored his seventh career kick return for a touchdown on their first drive against UNLV.
UNLV got the ball to start the game and settled for a field goal. When the Rebels kicked off to Utah State, Savon Scarver took it 100-yards for a touchdown to give the Aggies a 7-3 lead with 11:03 left in the first quarter.
The seven career KR for touchdowns is tied for the NCAA record.

Scarver’s last kick return for a touchdown came in 2020 when they played Fresno State on November 14. In 2019, Scarver had a KR for a TD in two games, against Nevada and Colorado State. He also had two in 2018 against New Mexico State and Wyoming. His first one was in 2017 against New Mexico State in the Arizona Bowl.
