SALT LAKE CITY – If you want to attend a Las Vegas Raiders game at the $2 billion Allegiant Stadium, you’ll need to have proof of a COVID-19 vaccination.
The Raiders announced their decision to require proof of vaccination on Monday night.

Raiders are the first NFL team to require COVID-19 vaccination
Fans attending Raiders games will show their vaccination proof through the CLEAR and Health Pass feature mobile app. According to the Raiders and Allegiant Stadium, providing proof of vaccination will “allow fans to attend games without wearing a mask.”
Last week the Raiders played their first home game in front of fans at Allegiant Stadium. The fans that were in attendance were all required to wear masks.
For fans who are not vaccinated but want to attend games, the Raiders will offer an opportunity for fans to vaccinations on-site at Allegiant Stadium. The newly vaccinated fans will then be allowed to enter the game but will be required to wear a mask.
PSL owners who aren’t vaccinated and have season tickets can also get a refund or rollover their fees to next season if they don’t wish to attend.
This requirement goes into effect for the Raiders’ first regular-season home game on Sept. 13 against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.
Could this impact BYU vs. Arizona?
This story could become one of interest for local fans here in Utah as BYU will play a game at Allegiant Stadium on September 4 against the Arizona Wildcats from the Pac-12 Conference.
KSL Sports reached out to Allegiant Stadium and Vegas Classic representatives on Monday night, asking if vaccination proof will be required for BYU/Arizona. Neither has responded to the request for comment at this time.

BYU fans sold out their ticket allotment in a matter of minutes this past spring, and have continued to purchase tickets to see their Cougars open the 2021 season in an NFL venue.
Before the Raiders announcement on vaccination proof, Allegiant Stadium issued a mandate on July 30th in response to rising COVID-19 cases that all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a face mask while inside the stadium.
