Utah QB Commit Runs One Of Fastest 100 Meter Times At Position

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah football 2022 quarterback commit Nate Johnson ran one of the fastest 100-meter times at his football position, according to Tracking Football.
Nate Johnson verbally committed to Utah on June 18 as a member of the 2022 class. He is a multi-sport athlete that also competes in track. Johnson ran a 10.52 100-meter and according to Tracking Football, that is one of the fastest at his position.

Tracking Football is an advanced scouting and data analytics distribution. They posted the best times for quarterbacks in the 100-meter and Johnson was tied for third on the list. He was only behind Jason Bean (10.37), Shoelace Robinson (10.44) and tied with Reggie McNeal (10.52).
Johnson’s recruitment has rose tremendously during this cycle as he was named an Elite 11 finalist, which brings the best high school quarterbacks together for a competition camp.

Johnson officially visited Utah on June 3. Other offers he received includes Michigan, Arizona State, Fresno State, Oregon State, San Diego State, San Jose State, TCU and UCLA.
