Local Teams Celebrate, Commemorate Juneteenth

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Local sports teams around the state of Utah posted on social media in celebration and commemoration of Juneteenth.
Juneteenth
Juneteenth is a federal holiday that is recognized annually on June 19.
The holiday celebrates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States.
