Tony Finau In Field For Upcoming Memorial Tournament

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Tony Finau is in the field for this week’s upcoming Memorial Tournament and will be playing alongside Matt Kuchar and Jimmy Walker for the first two days of the tournament.
Finau and company will tee off the first tee at 5:56 a.m. on Thursday and off the 10th tee at 10:56 a.m. on Friday.

Last year, Finau finished in 8th position despite shooting a six-over-par final round. He concluded the tournament seven shots behind eventual champion Jon Rahm who won at nine-under-par for the tournament.

Finau is coming off the Charles Schwab Classic in which he finished in a tie for 20th and 10 shots off the pace.
Currently, Finau is ranked 13th in the Official World Golf Rankings and 16th in the FedEx Cup standings.
With the Ryder Cup approaching (slated for September 21-26), Finau is in need of a big summer to further cement his spot in golf’s prized USA vs. Europe competition.
