SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Multiple Utah Jazz starters won’t play during the team’s weekend matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers host the Jazz for an afternoon game on Saturday, April 17.

Jazzmen Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley will sit out against Los Angeles due to right knee issues.

Donovan Mitchell is out after suffering a right ankle sprain a day earlier in Utah’s win over the Indiana Pacers.

In addition to the trio of starters, key reserve big man Derrick Favors will also sit out against the Lakers because of right knee soreness. Favors didn’t play against the Pacers.

The Jazz enter the game with the NBA’s best record at 42-14 on the season.
