Preseason Thus Far
Preseason for RSL began on March 8th and the club has been conducting its practices at their Herriman facility. To date, RSL played modified games against the Sacramento Republic FC last Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium. Season ticket holders were allowed entry into the game but not televised broadcast was available. The first unit beat Sacramento 2-0 after goals from newly signed RSL forwards Rubio Rubin and Anderson Julio.
RSL will return to Utah on April 10th and conclude their preseason activities in Herriman. No further practice matches will take place following the trip to Tucson, rather, the club will brace for its season opener at Minnesota on April 24th.
The club will then return home and debut for the first time at Rio Tinto Stadium in 2021 against Sporting Kansas City on May 1st.
