Miller’s Big Game Not Enough As SUU Falls To Idaho In Final Seconds

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Southern Utah Thunderbirds lost to the Idaho Vandals in the final seconds despite Justin Miller’s big performance.
The Vandals hosted the T-Birds at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho on Saturday, March 27.
Idaho’s Cutrell Haywood connected with Nikhil Nayar for the game-winning touchdown with seven seconds left in the fourth quarter.
The score gave the Vandals the lead and ultimately a 33-32 victory.

Milled led Southern Utah with a big-time passing performance. He ended the game 25/39 passing for 422 yards, three touchdown, and two interceptions.

Brandon Schenks had four catches for 126 yards and a touchdown.

Landen Measom added four receptions for 89 yards and a score.

Idaho Vandals
The Vandals were led by Nayar and CJ Jordan’s combined 326 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Dylan Thigpen ran the ball nine times for 110 yard and a touchdown.
Hayden Hatten had 12 catches for 155 yards and a score.
